my mom took my daughter to a small zoo here in wilmington. totem pole zoo. thats what it used to be called when i was little, but i think it has a different name now. anyhoo....
my mom took kiera to the zoo. kiera also wanted to go to the aquarium, but my mom told her to wait until next weekend after she got paid. this is what my daughter told me:
"grandma and i got some scratch-off tickets and grandma won $15! but she doesnt have enough money to go to the aquarium. we have to wait until next week after she gets paid."
now, i know the kid was being a smart-ass, but she said it with the most serious and straight face that i about fell out the chair from laughing so hard.
