interesting day

well things went very well today for our first turkey day hosting.
my sister in law brought fried corn. she would have brought cream corn, but she couldnt figure out the can opener. so she got frozen corn and scissors. apparantly that was much easier than cans and can openers.
and she had her dig cam with her. and she told us she finally got it working. batteries help. but then my sister and husband decided to tell them about me 'looking' for my cell phone.
there are five kids in my house, ranging from ages 3-15. oh the fun. the 3 yr old and 7 yr old are playing together. charlie and elizabeth went to the store. i'm the only grownup right now.
i'm trying to teach the 3 yr old 'pull my finger'. he wont play. he did once. after that, nada.
i made some whisky sour mix. drank some. i'd just had soon drank shots. i drank one mixed drink and that was it.
they brought back scratch off tickets and the kids got 2 each. fun fun fun.
